Qualifications

• Associate degree desirable.
• Four years of Patient Access experience.
• Two years of supervisory/management responsibilities.
• Experience with EMR, scheduling and billing systems.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision and leadership; scheduling, training, performance evaluations.
• Coordinate and monitor Patient Access functions: registration, insurance verification, authorizations and financial clearance.
• Ensure privacy regulations (HIPAA) and data integrity across systems.
• Drive front-end collections and support revenue cycle initiatives.
• Promote a welcoming patient experience and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Analyze department metrics and monitor wait times and front-end collections.
