Responsibilities

• Obtain and enter demographic, financial, and clinical information for financial clearance of scheduled patient accounts.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate with patients and physicians to obtain missing information.
• Provide financial counseling at check-in and explain benefits and self-pay liabilities.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely check-in and arrival to service area.
• Lead resource and provide supervisory coverage when needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA and CMS guidelines in daily processes.
