Patient Access Lead

Chicago, IL suburbs

Our client has retained our firm to identify an industry leader to help keep them the leading provider of Hospice and Home Health services in the Midwest.

The patient access lead is someone who serves at the senior member of the patient access function. This position assures policies and procedures are understood and adhered to. The Revenue Cycle Manager ensures accurate guidelines and resources exist to support staff, monitors productivity, efficiency and effectiveness throughout intake process. The lead serves as a liaison and representative of the company to patients, their families, field clinicians and other departments. May travel to other sites periodically.

Experience and Skills:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or Finance preferred or 3 years of relevant insurance verification/authorization and patient advocacy experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience with policies and procedures for Patient Access.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations for Hospice, Palliative Care, Medicaid Managed Care, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and HMO products along with billing guidelines.
