Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage the initial patient engagement process, collect and verify information, and coordinate communication between patients and internal teams. You will document accurately, support compliance with privacy regulations, and help streamline workflows to improve service delivery and patient satisfaction across the organization.

Qualifications

• Customer service or administrative experience in healthcare or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• HIPAA knowledge and privacy compliance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe and correct restraint procedures and documentation as per hospital policy.
• Attends and documents 90% of the Behavioral Health Department Staff Meetings.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient, department, and hospital information.
• Completes designated portions of the pre-admission form within the time frame and submits it to Charge Nurse for review
• Notifies the Registered Nurse of the patient's desire for treatment and documents accordingly in the pre-admission form.
