Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year computer data entry experience required.
• 1 year customer service experience working with patients or customers required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patient or representative to obtain personal, financial, and demographic information.
• Prepare patient record and input into computer.
• Obtain and verify insurance coverage.
• Complete and obtain signatures on required forms.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, and other cash payments as needed.
• Balance daily payment sheets.
• Route patient demographics to pertinent departments.
• Demonstrate commitment to department excellence.
