Responsibilities

• Verifies insurance and initiates pre-authorization when required.
• Collects required payments or makes necessary financial arrangements.
• Enters information into computer systems and updates records as needed.
• Prepares reports and patient identification items per department guidelines.
• Explains estimated financial responsibility to patients and secures payments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
