Responsibilities

• Verify insurance and initiate pre-authorization when required
• Collect payments and issue receipts; maintain cash logs and deposits
• Prepare reports and patient identification materials
• Communicate patients' estimated financial responsibility
• Refer patients to payment programs or financial assistance
• Perform other duties as assigned
