Job summary

The incumbent coordinates with other departments, attends trainings on regulatory changes, reviews workflow efficiency, and supports staff development and budgeting for the unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• One-year supervisory experience in a patient access/ admitting and registration role.
• Experience with cashiering or related duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and supervises the work of Eligibility staff in the registration and admitting department.
• Ensures eligibility and insurance verification processing to secure payer source before services.
• Attends meetings and communicates with other units to coordinate operations.
