The position requires strong communication, basic computer skills, ability to collect payments, and the capacity to multi-task in a busy clinic. Weekdays only, with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent; 2 years college preferred.
• Experience in patient registration, verification and authorization.
• Knowledge of governmental regulations and reimbursement criteria preferred.
• Ability to type 40 WPM and enter data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with short timelines.
• Professional and courteous interaction with patients and staff.
• Knowledge of insurance requirements for reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Register patients accurately and efficiently.
• Verify benefits for non pre-registered patients.
• Collect co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance.
