• Handles orders received by fax, physician EMR or other sources.
• Verifies order accuracy: physician signature, test/procedure, date and diagnosis.
• Maintains HIPAA confidentiality and security.
• Provides professional customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Transmits patient documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Keeps an organized and efficient work area.
• Responds to emails/cphones promptly and supports department goals.
