VNA Care is hiring a Patient Access Coordinator in Worcester for a hybrid, M-F schedule from 8:30 to 5:00. You will support referrals from case managers, physician offices, hospitals and families, ensuring timely data collection to accept a referral.

Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $25.00 per hour and on-site days are Tuesday and Thursday at 67 Millbrook Street, Worcester, MA. The role requires strong customer service, data entry, and computer skills, with preferred Excel experience.

Patient Access Coordinator, hybrid, M-F, 8:30-5:00, Worcester

• Rotating weekend and holiday requirements.

Position Summary:

Provides exceptional customer service for all internal and external customers including referral sources such as case managers, physician offices, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities as well as patients and patient families. Responsible for gathering all needed data in order to accept a referral.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year working in a health care environment or medical assisting.
• Strong customer service background via telephonic communications required, preferably in a medical environment.
• Strong clerical and computer skills required including data entry, working knowledge of office machines, phones and filing systems.
• Experience using Excel preferred.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and have strong attention to detail.
