The position includes Medicare compliance tasks, registration across services, and coordination with multiple departments to ensure smooth patient experiences. Must be able to handle day shift and PRN coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and communicates payer decisions.
• Registers patients for all services with accuracy and avoids duplicate records.
• Collects demographics and verifies insurance details for every visit.
• Provides excellent customer service and documents conversations with payers.

Responsibilities

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and coordinates with utilization management for pre-authorization.
• Registers patients for services ensuring accuracy and preventing duplicate medical records.
• Manages communications between clinical, ancillary, and access teams to improve patient experience.
• Handles cashiering tasks and cash reconciliation with precision.
• Attends meetings and supports PBX coverage when needed.
