• Guide patients to appropriate service locations when needed.
• Obtain pre-certifications and authorizations.
• Verify insurance benefits and active coverage.
• Determine insurance filing order when multiple coverages exist.
• Explain policies and obtain necessary signatures.
• Assist with discharge tasks and scheduling and referrals.
• Interview patients and guarantors to collect required information.
• Confirm physician and prescription orders for accuracy.
