Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guarantors and collect demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Provide patient estimates and collect out-of-pocket responsibilities per guidelines.
• Prepare and balance daily deposits of payment collections and maintain documentation.
• Explain policies and obtain required signatures for regulatory and financial documents.
• Assist with discharge functions, scheduling, referrals, and patient navigation as needed.
• Verify insurance benefits, obtain cards, confirm coverage, and determine filing order.
• Interviews patients to collect information and verify physician orders for accuracy.
