Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of experience in an ambulatory health care facility.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance.
• Knowledge of Third Party Payers, ICD-10 and CPT Coding is a plus.
• Computer and keyboarding skills required; EMR experience preferred (Epic).
• Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work with multiple teams in different settings.

Aufgaben

• Handle clerical, receptionist, and billing duties for the medical center.
• Register patients and coordinate referrals and scheduling.
• Manage daily operations of clerical components under supervision.
• Process HIPAA-compliant handling of sensitive information.
• Respond to high volumes of incoming calls and patient inquiries.
• Ensure accuracy in billing/collections and documentation.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the center.
