Job summary

MedMark Treatment Centers in Savannah, GA seeks a Part Time Patient Access Representative / Patient Account Representative to handle billing, insurance verification, and account maintenance in a outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities include reviewing accounts, verifying insurance, contacting payers, resolving billing issues, and ensuring timely payment while maintaining patient confidentiality. Prior experience in medical billing and strong customer service are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of Medicaid/PAC and commercial insurance experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and professional presentation skills including telephone etiquette.
• Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures, documentation and records maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and process fiscal/account records related to patient accounts.
• Verify insurance benefits and billing information and annotate accounts.
• Contact third party payers for payment post billing.
• Resolve issues with payment and billing; reconcile daily money collected.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records and ensure accurate account annotations.
