Job summary

CentraCare Health in Cold Spring and Sauk Crossing Family Medicine clinics seeks a Patient Access Assistant to handle patient registration and verify insurance details. You will be the first contact for patients and visitors, ensuring accurate data for billing and scheduling across two clinics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience; OR 1 year of related scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable and/or collections experience.
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Good verbal and written communications skills required.

OurPatient Access Assistantsare the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and perform registration duties within the hospital and clinic. This role requires independent analysis, exercise of judgment and detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. You will be responsible for verifying patient and insurance information, scheduling appointments, obtaining and identifying information necessary to produce billable patient accounts and more!

This position will float between Cold Spring Clinic and Sauk Crossing Family Med Clinics with Sauk Crossing Family Med being the primary location.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 40 hours every two weeks
• Day shift | 8-hour shifts | Monday - Friday
• Shift time from 6:30am-5:00pm
• No weekends or holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $19.91 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
