Job summary

The YWCA Greater Pittsburgh is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee projects within the Opportunity Pathways department at our Pittsburgh site. The role emphasizes community outreach, data collection, record maintenance, and partner engagement to advance the organization’s mission of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities include developing and coordinating projects for middle and high school participants, delivering curriculum after school, supporting summer programs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years supervisory/management experience OR Associate degree with 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Pass Act 33/34 clearances, FBI fingerprints, criminal background check, NSOR clearances.
• Experience applying diversity, equity, and inclusion in program operations is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in education/community programs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects/programs for the Opportunity Pathways Department.
• Develop, plan, and coordinate projects/models for middle/high school participants.
• Facilitate curriculum for program participants after school and in partnerships.
• Support Educational Opportunity summer camp and expansion initiatives.
• Attend monthly Saturday Academies and document outcomes.
• Develop rapport with partner families and community partners.
• Work occasional evenings and weekends; reliable transportation required.
• Maintain program data and reports in tracking systems.
