Job summary

Louisiana Delta Community College seeks a Pathways Coordinator to lead dual enrollment opportunities for adult education and Workforce IET programs. You will report on student progress, credential attainment, and entry/exit for IET and Perkins pathways, coordinating between Adult Education, Workforce, and Perkins CTE activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with one year of direct experience in a college setting.
• Associate degree from an accredited college or university with three years of direct experience in a college setting.
• Experience working effectively in a team environment with a customer service focus.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Pathway Instructor(s) and CTE staff to monitor student progress and credential attainment.
• Responsible for the Adult Education Instruction component of Workforce IET programs, including remediation and soft skills.
• Track Industry Based Credentials and alignment pathways and report to Data Analyst.
• Schedule pre- and post-assessment dates for students in pathway or Workforce programs.
• Assess program students using TABE 13/14 per policy.
• Update SIS with all assessments, attendance, and credentials.
• Create online user accounts for contextualized remediation.
• Monitor distance learning hours in online software and enter into SIS.
• Solicit student feedback to identify barriers to access and completion.
• Plan lessons and curriculum for diverse multi-skill level students in digital, health, and financial literacy.
• Schedule and deliver community education workshops based on local needs.
• Support outreach, recruitment, retention, and completion for Perkins programs.
