Job summary

The University of California, Los Angeles Extension invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach Pathway courses for neurodivergent students. Courses meet twice weekly with 2–5 hours of instruction per week, in person in Westwood Village.

Instructors receive a syllabus and content but are encouraged to develop engaging, student-centered lessons. You will coordinate with the Program Director, complete compliance trainings, and post final grades promptly.

Responsibilities

• Develop or update course syllabus to meet campus approval requirements.
• Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction for 10-15 students in person.
• Utilize Canvas as a course platform for in-person, online, and hybrid courses.
• Post final student grades to the transcript system within two weeks after course end date.
• Respond to student questions and learning needs within 24 hours.
• Coordinate with Program Director and Program Staff as needed.
• Complete new hire paperwork and quarterly syllabus updates and other administrative tasks.
