Job summary

Amity Foundation — Employment Services, DOL Pathway Home Program in Los Angeles, CA is hiring a Career Coach. The role provides direct casework services to Pathway Home participants, including intake, needs assessments, and individualized case management planning.

You will help participants build core competencies, move toward employment, and access education and financial aid. You will maintain participant records, input data in Apricot, and collaborate with program staff and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related field, OR a minimum of two years' experience working with criminal justice or related populations.
• Valid California driver's license and eligibility for Amity vehicle insurance.
• Experience counseling justice-involved individuals in a prison or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct casework services, including intake, needs assessments, and individualized case management planning.
• Develop and monitor IDPs, discharge and post-completion plans.
• Assist participants with applying for employment and higher education opportunities.
• Enter and maintain participant data in online case management systems (e.g., Apricot).
• Coordinate with program staff and external partners to support participant progress.
