We are seeking a full-time Surgical Pathologist with expertise in Gastrointestinal, Thoracic, and Head and Neck Pathology.

Position Highlights:

• Join a well-established team of 21 subspecialty-trained pathologists working in an academic medical center-based practice serving western Massachusetts.
• The department processes approximately 45,000 surgical pathology specimens annually, offering subspecialty expertise in breast/gynecologic, GI, Thoracic, GU, renal, dermatopathology, neuropathology, and hematopathology.
• Opportunity to pursue subspecialty interests and engage in translational research supported by advanced laboratories and resources.
• Faculty appointment at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate with opportunities to teach residents, fellows, and medical students. Research and scholarly pursuits are encouraged.
• This full-time position requires infrequent night and weekend calls. Clinical pathology interests are welcome but not mandatory.

Qualifications: MD/DO with residency training in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology only; BC/BE by the American Board of Pathology. Strong surgical pathology skills preferred, with fellowship training in Surgical or Gastrointestinal Pathology. Candidates with Cytopathology fellowship and additional surgical pathology experience will also be considered.
