The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine, is seeking an academically oriented faculty member for the Division of Anatomic Pathology. This is a full-time position at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level, on either a tenured or non-tenure clinical track, depending on qualifications.
The department is experiencing rapid growth, performing over 5.5 million tests and accessioning over 56,000 surgical pathology cases annually, with a diverse case variety. The health system is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, offering opportunities for clinical and translational research.
The ideal candidate will leverage their diagnostic skills and subspecialty training or experience in specific areas. Responsibilities include participating in diagnostic sign-out of 2-3 subspecialty areas, contributing to surgical pathology frozen section services, training medical students, residents, and fellows, and developing research projects aligned with their interests.
