Position Overview

The University of Kansas Health System seeks an infectious disease faculty member to join its expanding team. The physician will support the department's mission of providing high-quality care, teaching, research, and academic responsibilities at a regional quaternary referral center.

The Division of Infectious Diseases offers onsite services at multiple campuses and via telemedicine.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient consultation rounds in rotation with other faculty
• Maintain a weekly ambulatory infectious diseases clinic
• Train medical students, residents, and fellows
• Attend and present at key conferences and provide updates on clinical and diagnostic principles
• Participate in scholarly activities, mentorship, and scientific dissemination

Qualifications

• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases
• Infectious Diseases board certification within one year of appointment
• Kansas medical license
