Academic Surgical Pathologist - Gastrointestinal and Pancreaticobiliary Pathology
The Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences at the University of Missouri School of Medicine/University of Missouri Healthcare is seeking an academically oriented, AP board-certified, surgical pathologist with fellowship training in Gastrointestinal and Pancreaticobiliary Pathology. This is a full-time appointment at the Assistant Professor rank on the non-tenure clinical track.
We seek a GI/Liver pathologist to assist our current GI pathologist and participate in some general surgical pathology sign-out. The surgical pathology practice handles approximately 20,000 cases annually, with a large case variety. Subspecialty sign-out areas include neuropathology, eye pathology, hematopathology, gynecological pathology, and GI/Liver pathology. There are opportunities for clinical and translational research within the Department and the larger UHMC system, including Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and the Columbia campus.
