Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), through MUSC Community Physicians, seeks a General Surgical Pathologist for one of our coastal regions outside Charleston, SC.

We are seeking:

• MD or equivalent degree with pathology specialty training and certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Eligible for or currently possessing a medical license in South Carolina.
• Experience in fostering collaborative relationships with colleagues, clinicians, and researchers, as well as serving as a resource to technologists at the bench.
• Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented approach to patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Sign off on surgical pathology cases, including thoracic, gastrointestinal, general surgical pathology, non-gyn cytopathology, rapid onsite evaluation (ROSE), frozen section, intraoperative consultation, and breast oncologic pathology.
• Participation in tumor boards.
• Shared on-call coverage.
