Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years experience in lab/healthcare or customer service, and strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• Education High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Experience Previous laboratory, healthcare and/or customer service experience 1-2 years required
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work accurately under stress of time constraints and heavy workload demands

Responsibilities

• Assist with labeling, preservation and fixation of specimens.
• Work closely with technologists to ensure specimens are processed timely and accurately.
• Monitor reagent and supply inventory.
• Organize patient specimen and assay worksheets/printouts for testing and technologist review.
• Use LIMS to upload documents and input critical data or comments.
• Clean and maintain lab equipment.
