Job summary

Premier Medical Group of the Hudson Valley seeks a Pathology Laboratory Supervisor to lead the laboratory team under the Lab Director. You will coordinate technical and logistical testing, ensure timely and accurate reporting, and supervise all PMG lab staff while maintaining compliance with NYSDOH, CLIA, and accrediting standards.

This on-site role in the Hudson Valley requires a NYS Medical Technologist license, a Bachelor’s degree, at least six years in the lab, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and NYS Medical Technologist license required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
• Leadership experience in a NYS certified lab recommended.
• Experience with histology and microbiology preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail; strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage lab operations and supervise PMG laboratory staff.
• Bench technologist ~50% time across microbiology, histology, urine cytology, FISH, semen analysis, urinalysis.
• Oversee LIS and EMR interfaces and equipment maintenance.
• Maintain laboratory records and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report deficiencies to administration.
• Coordinate proficiency testing and NYSDOH reporting.
