The Clinical Lab Supervisor functions as the managing technologist, under the guidance of the Lab Director, and is responsible for being part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, development and implementation of objectives for the Lab. The Clinical Lab Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all technical and logistical functions to ensure prompt and accurate testing and reporting of results for all laboratory samples within established timeframes. The Clinical Lab Supervisor functions within the scope of practice regulated by State and National government as well as various accrediting agencies.

This position has direct supervisory responsibility for all clinical laboratory staff, including scheduling, performance evaluations, timecards, training, and annual competency assessments. To effectively support staff and ensure operational continuity, the incumbent is expected to work on-site and be available during regular laboratory operating hours.
An employee must work a minimum of thirty (30) hours each week to maintain full-time status for benefits purposes; however, the expectations of the position will require an average of forty (40) hours with overtime required as scheduled. Exempt employees may be required to work additional hours as necessary to fulfill their job responsibilities. Overtime requirements will be determined based on the operational needs of the organization.
The salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining an employee's base salary, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity). Premier Medical Group also offers a comprehensive set of benefits to complement the base salary. The base annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000.
May be required to travel to other PMG sites based on operational needs. Travel is minimal.
This position operates in a clinical outpatient setting and routinely involves direct interaction with patients, providers, and clinical staff. The work environment may involve exposure to infectious disease, bodily fluids, medical equipment, cleaning agents, and varying patient conditions. Standard precautions, PPE, and adherence to safety protocols are required at all times.

This is an onsite role based in the Hudson Valley, NY. To effectively support staff and ensure operational continuity, the incumbent is expected to work on-site and be available during regular laboratory operating hours.
