Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona seeks an experienced leader to direct and manage assigned pathology departments. You will oversee staffing, workflows, and regional coordination to ensure high-quality, cost-effective services.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance evaluations, and maintaining regulatory/compliance standards across locations, with travel as needed. A healthcare or science background plus supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in healthcare or science required.
• At least six years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and Six Sigma/Lean exposure.
• HT/PA/cytologist certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs, organizes and controls all pathology processes.
• Manages department(s) and location(s) to meet objectives.
• Hires, trains, conducts evaluations, and oversees workflow.
• Serves as regional liaison for other locations.
• Ensures regulatory and accreditation compliance.
