Job Description

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Pathology Institute is recruiting a full-time Surgical Pathologist to join our team serving the Pittsburgh area.

Job Duties

• Provide partially sub-specialized clinical service at Allegheny General Hospital and/or West Penn Hospital, including approximately 35,000 surgical pathology and 25,000 cytology accessions.
• Participate in teaching in ACGME-accredited AP/CP Residency and Cytopathology Fellowship Programs.
• Eligible candidates may receive academic appointments at Drexel University College of Medicine.
• Engage in clinical and/or translational research.

Job Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anatomic or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Fellowship or experience in Neuropathology preferred; other AP subspecialties considered.
• Pennsylvania License required.
