Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a NAACLS accredited Pathologists' Assistant program.
• ASCP licensure (or eligible with completion within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Perform macroscopic evaluations on simple and complex specimens
• Frozen section coverage
• Triage fresh tissue for lymphoma
• Assist pathologist in obtaining pertinent pathology reports on malignant cases
• Gather material for tumor board presentations
• Maintain the dissecting space (eg. temperature logs, stain line, supplies)
