Responsibilities

• Assist in gross description and dissection of surgical pathology specimens.
• Describe gross features and prepare tissue sections for microscopy, including frozen section when applicable.
• Ensure proper specimen accessioning and labeling.
• Obtain clinical records and related data for cases.
• Photograph specimens as needed.
