A regional health organization in North Carolina is seeking a Pathology Assistant responsible for processing laboratory specimens and conducting examinations. The ideal candidate will have completed a NAACLS Pathologists’ Assistant program and be ASCP BOC certified. The Pathology Assistant is responsible for providing accurate and timely processing of a variety of laboratory specimens, including comprehensive macroscopic examination and evaluation of all surgical pathological specimens.

Minimum Requirements

• NAACLS Pathologists’ Assistant program completion.
• Certified Pathologists’ Assistant from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP BOC).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Pathologist Assistant Program or Masters of Health Science.
