CompHealth is seeking a locum tenens pathologist to cover general surgical pathology duties in Illinois. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm with no call requirements. The responsibilities include anatomic & clinical pathology, cytology, peripheral smear and blood bank work, with 12–15 surgical pathology cases per day.

Cytology includes FNA; Pap smears, bone marrow, and autopsies are not required. CompHealth offers hourly pay from $180 to $220, with all-inclusive compensation, weekly

Some locum assignments can be as short as a day, others, years. Some are far from home, others are local. Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm -- no call requirements 12 - 15 surgical pathology cases per day Anatomic & clinical pathology, cytology, peripheral smear, blood bank Cytology includes FNA -- no Pap smears, no bone marrow, no autopsies 100 cytology cases included in scope
