Job summary

Interpath Laboratory, Inc is opening a state-of-the-art medical laboratory in Omaha, Nebraska, seeking both General and Fellowship-trained Pathologists. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in diverse casework across anatomic and clinical pathology with the latest technology.

Job description

Pathology Services has opened a brand new state-of-the‑art medical laboratory in Omaha and this is a rare opportunity to be part of a brand‑new facility backed by a trusted laboratory with nearly 60 years of laboratory excellence. This role is open to both General and Fellowship‑trained, US Board Eligible or Certified Pathologists.

Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic services across anatomic and clinical pathology, including surgical pathology, cytopathology, frozen sections, consultations and lab directorship
  • Collaborate with physicians, laboratory professionals, and administrative teams
  • Participate in laboratory quality programs, peer review, and case consultations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of results
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Completion of residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP)
  • AP/CP board certified or board eligible
  • Licensure in the state of Nebraska (can be obtained after acceptance of offer)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMust be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
General Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged periods of sitting, visual focus for microscopic work, and manual dexterity for handling specimens and lab instruments. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of materials up to 25 pounds may be necessary. Must follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling biohazardous materials.
