Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens pathologist in Alabama to cover a routine daytime schedule from 7:30 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, with rare evening calls by phone. The workload includes a general pathology mix with heavy GI biopsy and non-gyn cytology, peripheral smear reviews, and a radiology FNA smear component for biopsy adequacy.

The role involves afternoon grossing by pathologists (no PA on staff) and no autopsies, with most bone marrows sent out.

Job description

• 7:30 am - 3 pm, Mon - Fri -- rare evening calls handled by phone
• 20 - 30 cases per day
