Job summary

The VIOS Clinic in Urbana, IL is seeking a Lab Pathologist Assistant to provide anatomic pathology services under supervision of a Pathologist. You will prepare, describe, and dissect human surgical specimens, and assist with frozen section evaluations.

You will also conduct postmortem examinations, dictate gross findings to support diagnostic processes, and work with advanced pathology tools in a state-of-the-art lab.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Pathologists' Assistant (PA) from the ASCP within 1 year.
• Completion of a Pathology Assistant training program.
• Experience with specimen dissection, gross description, and intraoperative evaluation preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work with advanced pathology tools.
