Job summary

National Beef in Dodge City, Kansas is seeking a Pathogen Technician for our on-site laboratory team. You will follow project methodologies, run tests, record results, and prepare paperwork for samples while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow project methodology and lab management guidance.
• Ensure accuracy of information presented to Food Safety Center.
• Record sample data and maintain chain-of-custody logs.
• Run tests and manage data entry into electronic databases.
• Prepare required paperwork for samples received during shift.
• Maintain supplies and assist inventory clerks as needed.
• Support other lab technicians and assist with quality checks.
• Complete environmental quality assurance checks and housekeeping tasks.
