Job summary

The Standard Legal Recruiting is assisting a sophisticated litigation boutique expanding its Los Angeles employment practice by recruiting a Mid-Level Employment Associate. This role focuses on management-side employment matters, including wage & hour and PAGA disputes, with exposure to class and collective actions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of substantive labor and employment experience in a national, regional, or boutique setting and strong litigation skills through discovery and motion

Qualifications

• 3+ years of substantive labor & employment experience at a national, regional, or boutique firm.
• Strong employment litigation experience handling matters through discovery and motion practice.
• Experience with employment counseling, internal investigations, restrictive covenants, or class/collective actions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle management-side employment matters including litigation, wage & hour, and PAGA disputes.
• Assist with counseling, internal investigations, and restrictive covenants.
• Support business development and contribute to partnership track through origination efforts with firm support.
