Alston & Bird LLP seeks a Practice Assistant – Patent Prosecution to support critical steps in the patent prosecution process. You will prepare IDS filings, manage NOA workflows, and help prove and file applications with strict attention to deadlines and quality.

You will also handle docket and matter management, client reporting, and collaboration with attorneys and agents to improve efficiency and accuracy across portfolios.

Formación

• 3+ years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Experience preparing and filing Information Disclosure Statements.
• Experience with electronic filing systems and document management platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, review, and file Information Disclosure Statements (IDS), including ongoing updates and citation management.
• Manage Notice of Allowance (NOA) workflows, including client reporting, checklist completion, and audit resolution.
• Support patent proofing processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of filings prior to submission.
• Monitor docket deadlines and proactively manage workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks.
