Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr

A dynamic and well-established boutique intellectual property law firm based in New York is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team on a fully remote basis.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in intellectual property law and be well-versed in handling a wide range of matters including patent and trademark prosecution, IP litigation, licensing, and strategic portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent and trademark applications
• Provide strategic counseling on IP portfolio development and enforcement
• Conduct freedom-to-operate, validity, and infringement analyses
• Advise clients on trade secrets, copyrights, licensing, and technology transactions
• Assist in IP litigation and dispute resolution matters as needed
• Collaborate with clients ranging from startups to established corporations across diverse industries

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• USPTO registration (for patent work) strongly preferred
• 4+ years of experience in intellectual property law (boutique or large firm experience welcome)
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining responsiveness and reliability
• Background in a technical field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science, life sciences) is a plus but not required
