Job summary

Qualifications

Juris Doctor required and licensed to practice law in one or more jurisdictions.
3+ years’ experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm preferred.
Patent preparation and prosecution experience in Mechanical Engineering or Physics or related field.
Ability to manage multiple matters with attention to detail and ethics.

Responsibilities

Prepare and prosecute patent applications, provide patentability opinions, and assist with estate management.
Assist with licensing and enforcement of patents for diverse clients.
Communicate with attorneys and clients; bill hours to ensure client satisfaction.
Work independently, demonstrate initiative and professional growth in IP law.
Support business development and maintain high ethical standards.
