Job summary

MNF Global in Houston is seeking a Patent Prosecution Attorney with 3+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for sophisticated technology clients, including telecom, AI, software, and computer systems.

You will work directly with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel to shape patent strategy, grow client portfolios, and collaborate across a national IP platform. Houston-based, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of law firm patent prosecution experience.
• USPTO registration preferred.
• Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or related technical degree required.
• Strong patent drafting and prosecution background.
• Experience with telecom, AI, software, or related technologies preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work directly with clients.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute U.S. and international patent applications.
• Work directly with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel.
• Advise clients on patent strategy and portfolio development.
• Handle technologies related to telecommunications, AI, software, and computer systems.
• Collaborate with attorneys across a broad national IP platform.
