DLA Piper’s Patent Litigation group is seeking exceptional law students to join the 10-week summer program in offices nationwide, including Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. You may be considered for a 1L position (2027 summer) or a 2L position (2028 summer).

Ideal candidates will have demonstrated interest in intellectual property and a background or education in science.

Formación

• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Meet deadlines and maintain high quality work product.

Responsabilidades

• Summer associate will work on trials, appeals, and related counseling with pro bono opportunities.
• You will be assigned a team and receive feedback to develop legal skills.
• Participate in social events and network within the firm.
