Job summary

HireNow Staffing is seeking Junior and Mid-Level Patent Litigation Associates to support sophisticated patent matters across software, AI, semiconductors, biotech, and life sciences. The role emphasizes legal writing, research, advocacy, and collaboration in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment.

Candidates will join a direct placement partner with opportunities to advance in federal court litigation, engage with expert witnesses, and contribute from inception through trial.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• 1–6 years of patent litigation experience.
• Experience supporting patent litigation matters in U.S. Federal Courts.
• Strong legal research, legal writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy, communication, and client service abilities.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Active Bar admission or eligibility to sit for or waive into the applicable state bar.
• Ability to manage multiple litigation matters with attention to detail.
• Must reside within approved hiring markets and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support patent litigation matters through every stage of federal court proceedings.
• Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and develop strategic legal analyses.
• Assist with discovery management, document review, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Support claim construction, patent infringement, invalidity, and enforceability analyses.
• Assist with USPTO proceedings including post-grant matters where applicable.
• Collaborate with litigation teams across technology and life sciences industries.
• Analyze complex technical concepts with experts and consultants.
• Maintain high-quality work while managing multiple matters.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, experts, and court personnel.
