Job summary

BCL Legal represents a top AMLaw international law firm seeking a Patent Litigation Associate Attorney in Washington DC or New York. The role requires 2–5 years of patent litigation experience in Federal District Courts and excellent academic credentials.

You will draft pleadings, motions and briefs, manage written discovery, and perform legal research. A technical undergraduate or advanced degree in CS, CE or EE is preferred.

Patent Litigation Associate Attorney // Washington DC or New York // 2-5 Years' Experience

Salary: $225,000 to $320,000

About you

• 2 to 5 years of patent litigation experience in Federal District Courts.
• Excellent academic credentials with excellent organizational, written, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions and briefs, managing written discovery, and conducting legal research.
• An undergraduate/advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or another closely related technical field.
• Technical ability to work effectively and collaborate with clients across a variety of industries.
• Must be a member of the State Bar for the office to which you are applying or be eligible for admission via waiver.

Preferred but not essential:

• Experience preparing for and participating in depositions and other phases of Litigation.
• Hands-on coding experience in modern programming languages.
