Job description

Our client is a top firm, seeking a patent attorney with experience in medical devices for several offices, including Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, Seattle or Washington, DC. This position may have a a degree of remote work. The salary depends upon location and ranges from $225k to $320k.

Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications relating to medical devices, which includes surgical devices, robotics-assisted devices and cardiovascular tools.
  • Experience with FTO and patentability analyses, due diligence, patent procurement, and managing patent portfolios.
  • Degree in mechanical engineering is ideal [bachelor's or advanced degree].
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • State bar admission in jurisdiction of practice as well as USPTO admission.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
