Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP, an internationally recognized intellectual property law firm near Mosaic District in Vienna, VA, seeks a motivated Patent Attorney for a full-time role. Prosecute patent applications for leading tech companies and collaborate with clients and professionals.

Must be registered to practice before the USPTO and possess strong writing and analytical skills. Salary range is $160k–$180k with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent.

Birch, Stewart, Kolasch & Birch, LLP, an internationally recognized intellectual property law firm located near Mosaic District in Vienna, VA, has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly skilled Patent Attorney to join our team on a full‑time basis. Salary Range: $160k – $180k.

Responsibilities

• Prosecution of patent applications for leading global technology companies.
• Collaboration with clients and other professionals.
• Conducting case discussions with clients.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest developments in patent law.

Qualifications

• One to three years of substantial patent prosecution experience as a licensed attorney at a U.S. law firm or in‑house.
• Registration to practice before the USPTO.
• Strong technical writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
