BCG Attorney Search seeks a Patent Agent in Saint Louis, MO, to join the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Patent Prosecution Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of patent preparation and prosecution experience and must hold USPTO registration.

Responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications in electrical engineering and software technologies, performing patentability analyses, and communicating with USPTO.

Qualifications

• Experience with ML/AI and neural networks for patents.
• Knowledge of telecommunications technologies including 5G/6G.
• Understanding of autonomous driving and RF circuitry.
• Familiarity with hardware security and encryption concepts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in electrical engineering and software-related tech.
• Collaborate with inventors to draft robust patent disclosures.
• Perform patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Interface with USPTO regarding patent filings.
